The labs primary interests are to use an integrated structural biology approach centered on single-particle cryo-electron microscopy to (1) to understand how the membrane bilayer and specific membrane enzymes and transporters interact to accommodate lipidic substrates and (2) to understand the molecular bases of drug resistance. 

While prior experience in membrane protein biochemistry and/or structural biology are a plus, these are not a pre-requisite.
